FF, it is stuff like this that leads me to conclude sociopathic, narcissistic liar is a pre-requisite for running for any kind of office. any sane person would go insane dealing in that kind of environment. la is trying to charge for the carpool lanes - up to $10 for 10 miles. the irony is that this charge will force more cars into the already grid locked regular lanes, yet the sociopathic liars, including la's mayor and the chief girlie man arnold, are actually selling it to "reduce congestion." i kid you not. they know they are lying, which is why they will never go solo on an interview and explain, in specifics, how this will reduce congestion. it won't. something to note is that traffic through la was actually quite tame... on the day all the illegal aliens went on strike. i do believe there is some truth to the whole ignorance is bliss thing. i feel for you, though. the friction caused by this nonsense is absolutely insane. ps - consider the catholic issue dropped.
