We were not even close to winning in Viet Nam. As usual you are full of it! We drove their troops out of South Viet Nam, bombed them till they went to the Paris peace talks. They did not cooperate, then we bombed them back to the peace talks, they agreed to A North Korea type settlement. They ceased fire and we were building fence and guard posts at the DMZ when they decided that because of Nixon's impeachment and Fords past history they could attack and win. China funded them, we did not fund our allies from the Peace treaty on. We were about as worthless and ally as they come and I lay most of it on Ford.
