Mr. David Patterson reports

COASTPORT CAPITAL INC.: ECUADOR UPDATE

Coastport Capital Inc. has been advised by Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc., operator of the Shyri Project in Ecuador, that Cornerstone participated, on behalf of both Cornerstone and Coastport, with seven other mining companies and the Canadian ambassador in a meeting with President Correa and other senior Ecuadorean government personnel yesterday. While President Correa made it clear that the moratorium on exploration and mining activities would remain in place until the enactment of a new mining law, Cornerstone was encouraged by his statement of support for responsible mining and his desire to put mining on a secure legal and political footing within Ecuador's new constitutional framework. Cornerstone and the other companies were invited to meet with the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum to assist in drafting a mining law that will permit responsible companies to proceed with exploration and development of the country's mineral resources.

Coastport and Cornerstone will continue to seek clarity on the impact of the new Ecuadorian mining mandate and will issue updates as information becomes available. Coastport and Cornerstone will continue to work with other participants in the mining industry to advocate sustainable, private-sector development in Ecuador.

We seek Safe Harbor.
