Yeah, you don't come away humming anything from that one, for sure. Not easy listening. In fact, I would never listen to it.

I don't think it was the music that got Ammo. He loved the staging, which was very stark and dramatic when the Dallas Opera did it. He also went nuts over Wagner's Ring Cycle because of the drama. He took down his shark posters and put up a poster of Das Rheingold, and he bought a Wozzeck t-shirt. I probably should have worried about him more than I did.
