It's funny to see how people attached to political machines feel so upset by movements based on some kind of inspiration or anything new. There has to be a circular iron logic that nothing can ever be different, and the players must come from the old machine, or no one can play. I saw that in so many other countries I served in, where the political culture had gone stale and inwardly focused on self-preservation above all. That's where we are now after the 28 years of Bush-Clinton-Bush. Same old problems, same old cliches and insults. Same message that we can't let anyone else near the magic offices of power. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
