We let it rot away because we liked it so? No. The debt crisis starved the country of capital and infrastructure was dilapidated.

Now it is very easy to restablish it. No need to build anew. Just another a another lane, put more over passes, bypass big cities. It costs very little to take the rust out and improve it.

Capital coming there com gusto we will go this and BRL can go high er because we will gain productivity and still be competitive.

No need to export like juggernaut. Internal growth.

The US is different story:

Need to comsume less and export more to pay for goods and services.
