My bottom line, I guess, is that I don't think it is something that should even be covered by law. I see it more as something between a person and her sense of morality. I can understand why clergy or medics should be involved, but not cops, lawyers and judges.

That makes sense if you assume that your not dealing with a human, but with "a blob of cells" thats "a potential life", but that still may raise some moral issues.

Some go further than you and don't even think there is any serious moral issues.

Others like myself recognize you are dealing with a human.
