We have been held hostage way too long by using oil that we had to buy at such a high price, including agreements with countries we might not otherwise have to, Hugh. Americans NEED to understand what it is REALLY costing us to be so dependant on others for our well being. We need a President and a Congress that have the guts to get us started building more refineries, and drilling for our own oil, all the while providing funds to seek other alternatives. Obviously, ethanol at such a great cost, both in actual cost, and in the cost of all foodstuffs, isn't working.
