No, I provide you with what the military is saying including top military commanders as well as the rank and file. Why don't you provide your own quotes from people who say they love having contractors making more than they do working alongside them and with better equipment?

No, the military isn't just about shooting and killing particularly during a longterm occupation. Much of the military is about logistics, supply lines, distribution, etc. The largest base in Iraq is a good sized town with, at one time, some 40,000 people, a post office, a Subway outlet, big screen tvs, internet access, air conditioned dining halls, etc.

The American military is (or should be) top notch in shipping and distribution. It is quite an amazing and expensive effort. Of course, having a 3000 person 'embassy' and 14 permanent bases takes a whole lot of US taxpayer money and lots of effort.

I don't know what has happened to those plans as the media seems not to care much.
