Dropping the ethanol subsidy from 51 cents to 45 cents is 6 cents closer to sanity.

If Brazil can be persuaded to remove their deeply embedded ethanol subsidies the U.S. can remove their countervailing import tariffs.

Cut the ethanol tax credit to zero and do it today! People are starving today; <Handwriting is on the wall: ethanol tax credit being cut to 45 cents/gallon... >

It's an emergency. It doesn't need to be cut today, just tell people it will be cut as soon as the paperwork can be done and they'll start planting the right crops and moving out of the ethanol industry.

Ditch the whole tax payer and state sponsored biofuels industry and leave people to do what they want to do according to what things cost them. The whole CO2 drama is false and the solutions proposed are counter productive, apart from criminally genocidal.
