whoops Pipeline Bombing Disrupts Oil Traffic In Southern Iraq 4/25/2008 6:27:37 PM A bomb explosion on Friday, near the Jilawiya area in Iraq, damaged an oil pipeline carrying crude to various refineries in the southern parts of the country, said Iraqi officials. Police officials said that the explosion, which occurred at about 8.30 pm, wounded eight guards and disrupted the flow of crude. The bomb blast caused a huge fire and disrupted oil pumping from the Latifiyah storage facility, reported AP.
