There really has not been a true energy policy for over 30 years, but and the effective battles which stopped greater oil production in our country has caused many problems that the ignorant did not foresee, solar power has increased over 300% since 2001. Wind power I believe may have grown even more, programs to better develop nuclear power are now underway, there has been greater progress now than ever before in alternative energy. Unfortunately, little was done in the 90s.
