Hmm, I've been thinking that Obama needs to fill out the Wright and Trinity image. More about his sermons, more about the church, but keep him offstage. And do it only after Obama locks up the nomination.

Perhaps Wright can do some of that work himself.

Interpret the black experience for white people.

I would like to see Wright, or anyone, do that but keep it contemporary. Talk about today. Leave out the history and all the old wounds. I'd like to see if a case can be made for substantial racism in America in this century and looking forward. This is independent of Obama, just a thought that I've been hatching for a while.
