>>"Whatever makes us money."

Time to resurrect my favourite chart. There was a time when metals supported declining general stocks, but now the reverse is true. It seems to emphasize to the value of diversificaion.

We'll get further in the long run here with facts, ideas, and meaningful comments. If wave theory works, let's use it. If prices start reflecting fundamentals, let's use that. Whatever makes us money.

I would suggest selling covered calls. I have started to do so against many of the stocks that I have owned. I have sold both in the money and out of the money calls and as of a mid April was successful in 11 out of 12 trades while obtaining the objective of the trade. One case in point is that I have increased my profits on INTC by approximately 50% this year using this strategy.

<<whatever makes us money>>
That should include any sector that starts making 52 week high or are top gainers that week/month/YTD.

An example is CLS.to I really don't care that it is a tech stock, it just happens to be on the move right now. And, I might add, it is not moving alone in isolation. Check out that sector & you will see some nice % moves.

Who cares if NT.to was $1,600.00 ( or whatever) at one point in the last 8 years. I don't care. I just know it has made a nice move since January 08.

ditto SW.to

That is all I am interested in --> Movers

Of course your right about OIL. Take a look at precision drilling PD/UN.to again a nice move off the 52 week lows the pos was putting in

as far as digging for new ideas or revisiting old ones:

- did anyone notice Gabriel went up a lot last week?
- any thoughts on RGLD ? why is the P/e there always so high ? i woulda thunk with POG up at 900 (or more) earnings would kick in
- i noticed canarc continues to go down, anyone still holding, any potential there ?
