Thanks for the info.

I am very sympathetic to wind, solar and other clean energies. As mentioned, my son in law is one of the world's formost authorities on global warming and it is his main academic focus as an atmospheric chemist.

So I know the danger. He once said to me (and he is as solid as the rock of gibraltor): "Dont' let anyone tell you there is no global warming. We know it is happeneing".

However, wind and solar power will not mitigate the need for oil, NG, gas and diesel for many years yet.

That is where coal will need to come in to make oil, diesel, NG and gas.

PS, I am not at all confident we humans will be smart enough to recognize the danger in time and address it accordingly. We have not done well so far!
