not too worried for the mo.

maurice is in good spirit, readying to return (i hope he keeps his word) and noted to me that I will have to torment somebody else in the mean time, that he is not sure why he was banned this time, and that he will take short a break ... posting/ranting game is habituating, but real life has demands, etc etc, and something about hoping the Middle Kingdom returns in a very big way, continuing their resurrection after a long and very dark interregnum ... and not do a japan thing, namely stumbled in 1990 and fell back into the also-ran department, albeit at a high level.

maurice forgets that japan was never great, was not reverting to the mean, punching above its weight, until the weight of destiny exerts its inexorable downward pull, as it had always been an also ran, and is consigned to be such - what else can it be?

yes, that was an aside :0)

any how, elmat is just shooting prisoners and all, perhaps, to reset the thread after the nasty disruption that was zim the dim who certainly did not see 46 recommendations coming ;0)

today is a beautiful day in hk, and picnic is planned.

last night we dined with friends at the Pawn hongkonghustle.com , a trendy new restaurant set up inside a large building that is a historical preservation project in the heart of HK's rowdy entertainment (read bear and girls) zone, and which was a pawn shop ... i had never seen the inside of a traditional pawn shop, and it is pretty neat ... lots of storage areas of varying security for much valuable goods aggregated from all walks of society.
