Because the left is so ill-informed about this and other issues, they leave the high ground to rt wingers like you. Progressives like me are left out in the cold. I would love to have a debate on issues with the right but the left today is often more reactionary than progressive and it makes a good left/right debate impossible. BTW there are some on the right who do the same shit as folks on the left.

Excuse me.....Israel wanted to bomb the hell out of Lebanon. Any rational person knew that was crazy. A supposed 'peace loving' nation like the US should have objected......instead we enabled their attack. Why? Because Israel thought it was a good idea. This is stupid. Israel was ATTACKED and its soldiers were killed. Were they supposed to just SIT THERE AND TAKE IT? Talk about stupidity....how many Israeli soldiers were killed....1, 4, 10? And because that happened....forget that the other side had soldiers killed as well.......you kill thousands and leave a country in ruins? Yes, that is rightie logic at its finest......and of course, it was an extreme rightie who was in power in Israel at the time. To put it bluntly, he is a jackass and you a bigger one for supporting his stupidity. I am always amazed at how much you have to work overtime to reach some of the lunatic views you have. If the rest of the Left is no more informed than you are, I can see why the entire party has its head up its own ass. I am amazed that some one hasn't punched your lights out.
