I think of myself as moderate. I'm pro-choice, basically a social liberal. I supported Huckabee in the Republican primary, who all the right wingers (like Limbaugh) said was a tax-and-spend liberal -- because I liked what he did in our state and I do support the Fair Tax alternative to income taxes -- hardly a right-winger position.

No, I'm definitely moderate. Just more intolerant than the average moderate.

what is the difference between the left or liberals and progressives? I hear people call themselves progressives to distinguish themselves from liberals and I'm wondering what the criteria for being a progressive is.

Thoughts?
