I cannot believe Carter carries any authenticity. However, I concede there are some out there, particularly foreigners, who believe he does.

It's a sad commentary that our two living ex-presidents have severely tarnished their legacy, Carter with his buffonish statements and actions WRT our enemies, and Clinton with his conduct in the campaing and, well, his Clintonesqe behavior.
