Parabole: A comparison; a similitude; specifically, a short fictitious narrative of something which might really occur in life or nature, by means of which a moral is drawn; as, the parables of Christ. --Chaucer.

My narrative is a parabole. I keep telling a story from which people draws conclusions. The parabole has a theme. Mine is Brazil.

J.C used paraboles to teach the people how the Lord worked in mysterious ways. HE didn;t go there and explain to the shirtless in direct temrs because the shirtless would not understand.

Therefore he used paraboles to explain his ideas and make the shirtless grasp the concept and behave.

My parabole talks about a country just as a tool which symbolize the change of economic power in the world.

It talks about dynamics of power. Misunderstandings. Stereotypes. The life of the shirtless.

No, it is apparently the parable thread. Just don't criticize parables and you'll be ok.

I think ElM really wanted to ban me, but he'd mistakenly given me a raised eyebrow which closed off that option. Maurice was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
