Given the difficulty in telling televangelist nut jobs apart, I managed to conflate Hagee and Parsley.

While I'm unfamiliar with any of these people, you weren't the only one who referred to Hagee as McCain's "spiritual adviser". The liberal blogs are full of references.

I simply wondered whether it originated with McCain or whether someone else attributed it to him.

"I have no idea.....I thought the relationship was political."

McCain called Rod Parsley his spiritual guide during the press conference where Parsley endorsed McCain.

Apparently it was Parsley who married McCain and his wife. So, they've known each other for a while. And not just in passing.

Given the difficulty in telling televangelist nut jobs apart, I managed to conflate Hagee and Parsley.

Its always dangerous to misrepresent a situation with David Ray around. Its the only time he can accuse the rest of us of trying to pull something over him.......or worse, accuse us of lying. <g>

I hope there are not a lot of him in Arkansas.....
