That's part of it. But they also hate us because they believe that any people, whose women are free of archaic and barbaric treatment, are infidels. They hate us because we have technologies that they believe are against their religion (except, of course, when that technology is applied to jihad, in which case anything goes).

There are many reasons why they hate us. The Palestinian issue is a very minor point.
