I forgot forsythia in full bloom and the saucer magnolia is just starting to open.. We are supposed to get a cold snap so I'm hoping the magnolia does not get toasted like last year.. we lost all the buds (maybe a 150) save three.. Here the later tulips go until early June.. Trilliums are opening and we have ostrich ?? ferns (the big one, to 3.5-4 feet that is common in the woods here) opening with many still at fiddlehead stage.. have to resist eating them LOL

I'm off tot eh garden centre looking for some more Asian and regular poppies and maybe some lupins..

You need to look good for TEOTWAKWI :O)
