I could see that he had not ruled out solar and wind completely as ever being a part of our energy mix. I saw the "just" and the "for a while longer". So perhaps I overstated his opposition to them.

I also saw that he advocated the building of coal and nuclear plants instead without presenting any kind of support for the idea that it would be faster or more efficient to go in that direction at this point.
