Two great advertisements by the sellers. JohnM questions the validity of news stories. I wonder if we should question advertisements.

Well - if they are true our energy problems are solved. If they are not - well - I wonder if a conspiracy will be blamed.

I am waiting for the conspiracy.

<<<My feeling is that even if it costs somewhat more at the outset, the savings over the long term make solar thermal or distributed solar voltaic preferred options.>>>

I have a stake in solar (FSLR) having been in it for more than 1 year, but I have yet been able to do the math. My sense is that it is not there yet on a purely mathematical basis. My bet is that it will get there. Of course the sooner the better. My sense is that it could take longer than we would like but once we get there it becomes a game breaker - it will take off like the Internet.

Right now, it is not there. We either need a technological breakthrough or have the cost of oil go through the roof.
