Hi Jon, this is a very interesting article, so the As the worlds largest, physically backed gold ETF, streetTRACKS they are active in the physical bullion market expanding their holdings as prices rise and reducing their gold holdings as the price of gold declines..... thanks for posting this

In such a gold ETF, investors buy shares that represent a certain amount of gold that the fund then buys on the market and stores. When investors sell their shares, the fund sells the physical gold into the market.
