Nadine, why in the world would I ever consider the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as being other than a political hack when Bush has played musical chairs with anyone that has had a differing opinion on the Middle East, for example Adm Fallon was canned when he spoke up, Shenseky was canned when he urged more troops for the initial invasion, Gen. Anthony Zinni was forced into early retirement because he had differing views, so what we have here is some military guy that speaks the Bush party line so he can collect a better retirement for time in service - no more, no less.
