Yes, it will take time, technology, and investment, but with American willpower, we can do anything. In fact, we could have already been well on our way had we used the close to $1 trillion we've already spent in Iraq towards energy independence instead. However, even now, it is the only responsible and obvious thing to do for the good of this country's national and economic security.
