Absolutely agree. BTW, the VCs in Silicon Valley aren't waiting for the morons in Washington to get it. Most of the VC money for the last several years has already been pouring into alternative energy...and that is without any government help! Imagine what we could accomplish if we had a nationally consistent set of laws and a national strategy to get us there in a specific timeframe. That would accelerate the whole process, increase private sector investment by an order of magnitude, and lead to millions of jobs being created. Too bad that we're stuck with idiot leaders like Bush in place.
