Dont take your angst out on me. I think medical use of marijuana is fine. In fact I think there is a very good argument to legalize marijuana use. I think the government has more serious things to worry about than busting pot smokers. I dont think you can even get busted for it anymore. I think studies uniformly point out that the routine use of marijuana is quite bad for physical and mental health. I dont think marijuana use should be glamorized like cigarettes used to be, alcohol, or casual sex. Of course at one time HS substance abuse used to be about beer. Now it is about the increased use of heroine. Perhaps the cool attitude about pot smoking is not promoting other drug use. nida.nih.gov
