First - welcome back. Game three today for the Tribe and Yankees. As for global pollution. That is a huge issue that we will have little control over. In my trips to emerging countries - not really third world - the concept of garbage control and general outside house keeping seemed totally lost. My point was that I do not think we will be in a position to change environmental policies of countries like Egypt, India and say China. I do not think they will welcome our preaching on the subject. The whole condition of the third world is a sad subject worthy of a whole separate discussion. This is one of the key points in the GW debate. As the world moves up the ladder we will become less and less a factor. China I believe has already surpassed the US in CO2 emissions.
