Now you may think that is absurd, but most people would not. What was absurd as your hype about people dying in the streets. It seems to me that paying people to lose weight could be effective in small implementations, for example a parent paying a kid or family paying a brother. It could also be effective for a single employer or an insurance carrier. Anything bigger than that is just not effectively implementable. Think about implementing it and you will see that.
