Wonder who's buying it if not the utilities. But I grant you that political rhetoric upstages hard facts these days.

Furthermore the trend toward NG fired electricity generation had started well before Gore was elected VP in 1992, and more than a decade before Gore became evangelical about the perils of global warming:

You can credit Gore for stopping new coal with about as much credence as crediting him with inventing the Internet.

PS - As far as I know Gore is not a member of Congress voting on the President's policies nor is he the governor of any state, so blaming him for your insecurities seems outlandish to me.

So Big Dog's has now become a bash Al Gore and 'weirdo environmentalist' thread? If I dared make any such off topic post with an opposing viewpoint I would be attacked and threatened with being banned.

I hope you guys can calm down at some point so this thread becomes useful again.
