The shark attach grabbed my attention. We used to dive for abalone and cut them off the cliff sides wherever the drops were. From Encinitas to Cardiff and Solana Beach. That unfortunate swimmer was sad to hear about.

I remember lots of attacks up near Big Sur. Was never very common down south.

He was a veternarian training for triathlon or something. I knew a Medical Doctor who was training for huge bike race. We were running a juice bar in Carlsbad, my brother and friend and me. The doctor went on a carrot juice fast and started looking bad. We told him he was looking between orange and green. He laughed in off. Never made it to the race. He died.
