from what I can get, the indigenous miners were rewarded with the pit and area 100ha within the bigger Vale concession, as a negotiated settlement for being kicked out earlier. Colossus has negotiated an option on this 100 ha and seems to have worked out a deal for the core from CVRD. Unique, a little convoluted, typical Canadian diplomacy. Seems to require fast tracking to excercise option and get permitting.....gotta think about this one a bit more.
