patron, I've been looking for a very interesting article about an Auburn Hills battery technology company. The story is, from the ex-owner himself, that GM bought them out with a majority ownership and basically killed any actual interest in implementation. I'm seeing a guy on Tuesday that works in the Auburn Hills tech area and I'm sure he will remember the name and then I can find a link. The Volt is going to be very interesting. I've not had any chance (after many hints to some GM personnel with a decent bit of power) to see the latest design work. I've also heard the Volt team has gone double-secret underground and all working together in a core area. So, the first comment reflects GM thinking of two plus years ago, and the last comment is where GM is now. GT TH
