There has been an increase in the rate of accidents at refineries, and studies have shown an alarming lack of investment in safety equipment and upkeep.

I don't doubt there are more accidents at refineries, they are running wide open...but there are expansions going on at current refineries, just go check yourself why you cannot build a new refinery..at least here in the USA.

but...just for the sake of keeping YOU honest, let's see your proof of the "alarming lack of investment in etc etc" statement. And not some NYSlimes editorial either, I want to see real proof.

If you think the "lower class" is getting hosed...then YOU get off your butt and go talk to the millions of investors of Exxon and tell them to give back their money....then YOU go talk to the thousands of charities that benefit from Exxon and tell them to give back the money.

Oh...and BTW. go tell China to stop their increase in consumption...there is your monster.
