That's a nice thing to say....There were two times that I was VERY lucky indeed...that was one, and the other was when I got Hepatitis A....We had been on vacation in Carmel, and since we collected our meal receipts, we knew that there was no place here in the 15-51 day incubation period that I or we had been....It usually is a mild illness, but what I got was a heavy duty, sick for a week, then land in the hospital for 10 days, and home for a couple of months getting strength back.... Both of these two things taught me humility, for sure. I feel fortunate to be here.... We all get these little "life lessons" of various kinds...
