I would be pleased with an upside surprise, but don't want the market to set the expectations bar too high. The spectrum game, unless the plan was to build and operate a network, is best left to operators since the horizon is very long and the strategies employed may be at odds with NW's network building business. Further, this may open the door to systems sales to existing operators who may have seen NW as somewhat of a competitor. Focus on building WiMAX and LTE networks that most need their converged device software/chips; based on available information, these activities seem to be the company's strong suit (public safety networks biz looks promising as well).
