The closest thing I ever had to a scare was when we were about to board a bus. I was on a taxi coming back from returning a rental car. My cell rang, and it was my wife. She said there were some people getting on our bus and she didn't know who they were. I said I'd check it out when I got there. They turned out to be from an ethnic group that is not noted for terrorism, so we got on the bus with them. Other than being a little pushy in line and being in need of a bath, they were well-behaved.

I do not like having to be suspicious of people who are different from me, but in view of our recent history, I have no choice but to apply my personal judgment to people around me.

I'm not the one with the problem.

When I was in college my plane sat on the ground for about an hour. Finally they asked for volunteers to give up their seat for a free ticket. The guy next to me raised his hand. Next thing I know I'm sitting next to a drunk who had been holding up the flight demanding to get on.
