There are no less than 5 dockominiums in construction within 2 miles of our weekend beach cottage. They are being built and are priced anywhere from 90k up. This is on Fort Myers Beach, hardly an upscale resort area. We love the area because it is a little old fashioned and down market. No chain stores and lots of tacky bars on the beach. The island is in a depression already.

We keep thinking we may pick a dockominium up super cheap in about two years but what to put in it: our kayaks? We went with out on a friends boat last weekend and it cost over 400 to gas up. I imagine we used it all.
