Brian -

Are we to judge Obama not just by people he is associated with, but also by everyone his associates associate with? And what about their associates associates' associates?

Where does this guilt by association end?

- Allen

Brian, if Obama isn't in the picture, I couldn't care less. You folks can keep the turd throwing contest busy if you like. I am only interested in who wins the Democratic nomination, and the most important (real) issues for the fall.

This "campaign" has disintegrated to a level that will likely produce another 2000/2004-style wafer-thin victory, with little real hope for change. It is a playground joke, at best. We all know how well playing this game turned out the last couple of times around the track.

FWIW, if you want to re-post someone else's words, please link to their post and identify them as such. That will be thread policy from now on.

Are we playing Six Degrees of Barack Obama?

If you remember the game is based on the ability to link any actor to Kevin Bacon, and I bet we could do the same in the political world and link Barack to characters way worse than Rev Wright.

Or maybe McCain has some links of his own.

Let's see--McCain sent a birthday card to Joseph Bonano, a Mafia lord. And Bonano knows Fife Symington, who was kicked out of office and convicted of 7 felonies relating to fraud and extortion! Aha!
