Tim...you just "cut n pasted" that from somebody else..lol You DO understand that GDP is a "fluid" thing, right? The GDP in 1 year isn't really indicative of the GDP 10 years out if economic realities change radically, right? Can you "cut n paste" those same numbers on GDP from 1928-1932 so we can see what they look like? The thing IS...GDP is fluid, but DEBT is FIXED.... It's like the guy that's making $100k a year so he buys a BIG house with all the amenities and THEN he gets "laid off". If you think that's an unrealistic example you should check out the personal histories of a lot of mortgage brokers in California.
