Men are men, women are women. They each are human beings. Each may have rights as humans but the never will be equal. It is this misconception over equality that has caused such problems in this country. <<If you don't see that, well, too bad for you, at your age it's highly unlikely you're going to see the light. >> I don't know that you know my age or what age has to do with anything we are discussing and if seeing the light means seeing things the way you do, I'll pass, thank you. <<Agreed. However, if you think that a husband spending money on his wife (or vice versa) shows a lack of sense, I hope you rethink that position.>> Never said that, again, assumptions or delusions on your part. I did say and believe that, when a person meets and marries another and it doesn't work out, then one spouse (of either sex) should not walk away much richer than they were prior to the failed marriage. But this is logical and therefore sexist divorce attorneys probably don't get it. <<As countries do that, they become richer, but the "price" to pay is to free yourself from the mental blinders that women aren't really equal. You benefit from their labor, their creativity, their intelligence, but you don't see it.>> Never said different there either, again you are arguing to some imaginary person on an imaginary point of view. Of course women can work, are intelligent and can do some jobs better than men. But they are not equal, never were and never will be. And to me that is a blessing, I don't want my lady to be like my male friends and I don't want my male friends to be like my lady. Asian and Latin cultures get this, American and some European (mostly those heavily influenced by American culture) don't. America has made equal rights the same as equal. So now we have women competing with men, women boxers, women soldiers, women police etc. No wonder American men are confused about the subject and our society shows this in it's hypocrisy and repressive laws on the subject. i think it is you who have blinders on but given how you make your living it is understandable.
