Fair? What's fair about ceding my matrimonial superiority to the likes of you? 'Tis true, of course, that I am the superior mate - in the only way that matters - but let's not let our synapses loose by entertaining such notions, counter-notions and counter-productive responses. As entertaining as that might be: winning a debate on this thread is not an expectation one should entertain lightly. In fact, the only thing that matters is that neither you nor anyone else are a superior spouse in the eyes my mate, nor am I in the eyes of yours. For so long as this holds, we sidestep debate, revel in our mutual and equal but different superiority, and attend to providing for their needs. And they will continue to attend to ours. Otherwise, well, testosterone shall force a duel and estrogen will claim it's share and thus we should be divided and conquered most unjustly, inequitably and unequally. Which a civilized, educated, rational man would not choose to let come to pass.
