Obviously all markets are local. Some will correct more than others. OTOH, few dreamed of a 50% correction in south Florida 2 years ago. The amazing thing is the denial still going on.

You are right about Detroit. Wayne county, which contains Detroit, shows up near the top of nearly every bad national list (crime, poverty, unemployment, corruption, etc). Oakland County, which is right next door and where I live, is one of the richest counties in the nation, and houses a high percentage of the "brains" of the US auto industry. It is no coincidence that we also have a very high percentage of citizens here with CPL's (Concealed Pistol License). Anyone who thinks citizens shouldn't be allowed to pack should walk around some of the badder areas of Detroit after dark. You will change your tune very quickly, IF you survive.
