poor whites had the same access to welfare. Its untrue what you say. I don't fully disagree with your point, but it is a fact that the welfare state was more to the benefit of blacks than to whites. But you make a good point. I would also add that black society was not responsible for this; it was a misguided attempt by the Left to help the poor, and the Left simply didn't understand that it was a mistake that would serve to enslave the poor for years to come. If you throw raw meat out the back door for the cat every morning, the cat will soon become unable to fend for itself. People, black or white, are the same way. If you GIVE them food, they will become unable to work for food. Today, I see blacks out working hard, doing positive things, making progress for themselves, and being self-sufficient. No longer are they held back by the welfare state.
