Dana Milbank said that Obama was being "swiftboated" by his own pastor. It's more true than Milbank realizes; the swiftboat charges stuck because they were largely true. In Rev. Wright's case, his charge that he represents the black church is not all true but it's partially true, and the idea that Obama has any reason to feel the surprise he now claims is clearly false. Jeremiah Wright has not ever hidden his light under a bushel. Meanwhile, there is nothing to hinder Rev. Wright from continuing his "I'll show YOU!" tour. i mean with friends and pastors like jerry wright....who needs enemies? almost starting to feel sympathetic toward obama

Meanwhile, there is nothing to hinder Rev. Wright from continuing his "I'll show YOU!" tour. It was reported by somebody (can't find the link) that Wright has a book ready to come out later this year. That may be part of his motivation this week and may also be more trouble in the pipeline for Barry Obama.
