If John McCain had been hanging around with Rush Limbaugh, who certainly isn't as controversial as Wright, you would be screaming about it.

The simple truth is you are willing to look past Wright because it is YOUR GUY who has been following him.

To right wingnut America, Wright opens his sermons EVERY SUNDAY with a rousing "GOD DAMN AMERICA", and the multitude responds "AMEN"!

LOL!

JF, > Do you ever disagree with your minister?

I wouldn't be very comfortable in a church that has a pastor like Wright. Or Falwell or Robertson for that matter.

By the way, I already mentioned that one evangelical Christian I respect is Tony Campolo, and he's a well-known liberal whom Bill Clinton consulted on numerous occasions. The reason is because one of my favorite pastors quoted him a lot. A real heart for serving.
