There are some who think this thread should and does always speak with a single voice, when as we well know, there is a variety of views on different issues, and not many shrinking wallflowers hesitant to chime in.

No argument from me. But there are some issues that stir a critical mass to engage in wagon circling. I'm not overlooking the variety--viva variety--only noting that there are dominant vs minority opinions on some topics. The recent drug discussion is an example.
